How Can Group Therapy Help People Overcome Personal Problems?
Overcoming personal problems becomes a lot easier when you are in the company of people who share the same experiences and struggles. This is the idea behind group therapy, a type of psychotherapy designed to treat psychological issues ranging from anger, depression, anxiety, and grief. In group therapy, five to 15 people come together in sessions facilitated by a group therapist. The sessions last for an hour or two with counselees focusing on finding a way or two to overcome their struggles and consequently, improve their lives.
